Lexington Style BBQ Dip


  • 4c Ketchup

  • 4c Apple cider vinegar

  • 1c Sugar

  • 2tsp Black pepper

  • 1Tbs Crushed Red pepper

  • 1Tbs Ground Pepper

  • 2Tbs Salt

  • 8c Water


Combine all ingredients in large pot and bring to slow boil, stirring often. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. For ease of use, pour into empty ketchup bottles. Refrigerate for storage.
